Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

By booking a service with [Earth Cuts LLC ] ("we", "us", or "our"), you ("the customer") agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Overview

We provide:

  • Lawn mowing and yard maintenance, interior and exterior clean-outs, pet waste cleanup, overgrowth management, and property preservation services, including but not limited to: tree limb removal, winterizations, lock changes, debris removal, and property securing (boarding, tarp application, etc.)

All services are scheduled by appointment and subject to availability.

2. Customer Responsibilities

  • Lawn Services: Please remove personal items before our visit. We are not liable for damage to objects left in the yard (e.g., hoses, toys, tools, cables).

  • Clean-Outs: All unmarked or unremoved items may be discarded. We are not responsible for mistakenly disposing of items left in designated clean-out areas.

  • Pet Waste: Not included unless added to booking. Surprise discovery of waste results in a cleanup fee, or service will be cancelled and refunded minus a $15 trip fee.

3. Recurring Lawn Services 

We offer weekly and bi-weekly lawn care for consistent yard maintenance. Bi-weekly services are subject to an overgrowth fee if grass exceeds 7 inches at the time of service. Customers must ensure the lawn area is accessible and free of obstructions (toys, furniture, debris, pet waste) on service days. Missed visits due to blocked access or late cancellations (under 6 hours) will incur a $15 trip fee. Recurring plans can be cancelled anytime with prorated refunds based on completed visits (see Refund Policy).

4. Overgrowth Fee

Lawns with grass over 7 inches tall will incur an overgrowth fee due to additional time and equipment required. This fee must be paid prior to service or the job will be cancelled, and a $15 trip fee will apply.

5. Damage to Property

While we exercise care during all services, we are not liable for damage caused by:

  • Objects hidden in grass or debris

  • Unmarked items disposed of during clean-outs

  • Damage to unsecured or deteriorating structures during property preservation work

6. Property Preservation Disclaimer

For preservation services (including tree limb removal, winterizations, lock changes, property securing, and similar work), the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Services are performed based on visible condition and customer instruction.

  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, hidden structural issues, or failure of systems (e.g., plumbing, locks, windows) before or after service.

  • Winterizations do not guarantee protection from future freezing or damage if pre-existing vulnerabilities exist or if temperatures drop unexpectedly.

  • Lock changes or property securing services are done in good faith using standard procedures. We are not responsible for re-entry access .

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancel at least 6 hours in advance to avoid a $15 trip fee.

  • Jobs will be cancelled (and partially refunded) if:
    – Payment is incomplete
    – Pet waste or overgrowth fees are not approved
    – Access to the property is denied or unsafe

8. Weather Policy

In severe weather, we may reschedule services for safety. You’ll be notified of any delays or changes.

9. Payments and Refunds

  • Payment is due at booking unless arranged otherwise.

  • Any undisclosed conditions (overgrowth, excessive debris, pet waste) will result in added fees or cancellation.

  • Cancellations for unpaid additional fees will result in a refund minus a $15 trip fee.

10. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service at any time for unsafe working conditions, lack of payment, or violations of these terms.
